Breakfast times can range from Lady P eating anything and everything from Weetabix, to her favourite, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (ooh, lardy dah), and even Daddy’s toast and peanut butter.
But on other days, she won’t eat anything.
So when I won a competition with Hipp Organic and we received a box of goodies, including Fruit O’s cereal I was looking forward to giving it a try.
Fruit O’s is a colourful breakfast cereal for children from 15 months onwards, containing no added sugar, nuts, soya, egg, lactose or cereal, and also suitable for vegetarians.
I know from experience that as soon as a child shows interest in a food stuff, a parent will buy a lot of it so that they have it on hand whenever the child next asks for it. What then usually happens is the child rejects the food and a half-eaten open box of whatever then goes stale. As soon as the parent has thrown it in the bin, the child asks for it again.
So I was pleasantly surprised to see that this toddler cereal comes in 2 foil bags, meaning that one pouch can remain sealed whilst the other goes stale!
In our case though, I don’t think any of this cereal will be going stale in this house!
Lady P absolutely devoured the bowl of Fruit O’s that I gave to her!
Tried and tested review:
I love the fact that not only did Lady P eat a full bowl of cereal for breakfast, but that it wasn’t crammed with sugar and salt that more adult alternatives often are. None of this cereal was flung on the floor either, and the 2 pouch thing is just genius.
