#ToddlerStories Linky 2 – Toddler Stories

Welcome to the Toddler Stories Linky

Week 2 of the #ToddlerTales linky and what a week it has been!

I had some great interaction from fellow pbloggers who were kind enough to tweet, share, comment and link up, which helped me to discover lots of new and amazing blogs to keep me from my bedtime reading.

Tell me, can anyone else actually stay awake long enough to finish more than a few pages each night?

So without further a do, here’s this week’s #ToddlerTales linky!

Last week’s featured blogger

As a child, we spent every summer touring France – that’s what you get with parents for teachers! So I really enjoyed linking up and reading A letter to my Maman and other posts from The Frenchie Mummy. If you have a few minutes, check her blog out!

Thanks for linking up The Frenchie Mummy – please grab your ‘featured blogger’ badge below!

 #ToddlerStories 2: A story about knickers

Normally, I wear nappies.

Cosy comfy nappies.

We have boxes and boxes of them.

They are everywhere I go, and in every bag Mummy packs.

I’m not really sure why, but she takes the nappies out of the boxes they come in, and puts them into other boxes on the shelf.

It seems a bit weird to me, but she always leaves little pointless boxes of stuff for me to take out and spread around the house.

So imagine my surprise when she told me that I wasn’t going to be wearing nappies anymore after she seems to like them so much.

potty training toddlerShe showed me these things called ‘knickers’.

They look a bit like the things I see her wearing under her clothes, but hers don’t have Peppa Pig on them and also don’t seem to cover up all of her bottom.

She’s been asking me to wear them every day for the last week, but seeing as I can’t always be bothered to stop what I’m doing to tell her that I want to have a wee, I change them quite a lot.

I’m getting lots of stickers for wearing my knickers though, so that’s always a bonus.

One day, I’ll tell Mummy before I need a wee.

It's an unusual way to get her used to knickers, I know! #pottytraining #pants #toddler

You can keep up with my adventures and follow us on Instagram – I’ve love to hear about your toddler stories.

So how does the #ToddlerTales Linky work?

Each Tuesday morning from 7am, the new linky will be live.

It will close on Monday evening at 8pm.

You can link up to 2 posts – old or new and all topics are welcome – no subject is taboo.

I don’t like to be too much of tyrant, but like any toddler, even bloggers sometimes need rules.

  • Add the badge. Please add the #ToddlerTales badge or text link to each post that you link up. You can do this by copying and pasting the badge code into the text/HTML area of your post within your publishing platform.
  • Tweet your link up. Share your posts on Twitter using the linky hashtag #ToddlerTales and tag me in @fromtumtomum so that I can retweet them.
  • Be kind and comment. Please comment on the host posts and any other you read on my blog. Share the love by commenting on at least 2 of the linked up posts and don’t forget to add the #ToddlerTales hashtag so that they know where you found the post.

I’ll pick my 3 favourites to give a shout out on the next week’s linky and feature all blogs in a newly created Pinterest board (starting next week), as well as repost any Instagram images and Tweets tagged with the #ToddlerStories hashtag.

Follow me on Twitter @fromtumtomum and Instagram @fromtumtomum.

Happy linking!
