We recently went to see some friends and visit Dublin in a place called Malahide, just outside the city.
Malahide is a is a coastal suburban town within easy reach of Dublin city with the highest percentage of professionals living in it than any other town in Ireland.
Malahide itself is a pretty village with a great variety of shops and services including fashion boutiques, hair and beauty salons, florists, food outlets, and a small shopping centre, as well as a castle and of course the beach nearby.
And to keep the young professionals entertained, there is a wide selection of pubs and restaurants both in the town and with a view of the coast.
So if you ever find yourself in Dublin and want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, head to Malahide for a bit of R&R with a buzz.
